A Journey of Faith

Prasanth Jonathan has been serving Jesus Christ and proclaiming the Gospel and encouraging people toward Christlikeness for over two and half decades. Born into a traditional Christian family, his faith became personal in 1993 when he surrendered his life to Christ through the ministry of India Campus Crusade for Christ. This decision ignited a lifelong journey of discipleship and ministry.

Prasanth began his ministry with Youth for Truth, an organization dedicated to equipping young people to stand firm in their faith. Over the years, he has served in diverse mission fields, including the United Kingdom, where he partnered with local churches to encourage the discipleship. Currently, he serves as the Senior Pastor at Thompson First Baptist Church in Manitoba, Canada, shepherding his congregation with a heart for God and His Word.

In addition to his pastoral work, Prasanth is a writer whose ministry extends beyond the pulpit. His teachings inspire believers to grow deeper in their faith and live out their God-given calling.

His calling to full-time ministry was solidified in 1999, with the verses “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few” (Matthew 9:37) and “Whom shall I send?” (Isaiah 6:8) prompting his humble response: “Here I am, send me.”

Prasanth is supported by his wife, Dr. Michelle, and their two children, Joanne and Jeremy. Together, they navigate life and ministry as a family rooted in faith and love.

Whether through preaching, mentoring, or writing, his life is a testimony to God’s ability to use every gift and talent for His glory, encouraging countless lives toward Christ-centered living.
